Sean O’Connor grew up in Brunswick, Ohio, where he returned after finishing his undergraduate and graduate studies at Asbury University in 2015 to start Sean Michael O’Connor LLC and begin full-time freelance videography. His clients have included The Christian & Missionary Alliance, Truth For Life with Alistair Begg, Compassion International, Remember Nhu, and more.
After completing his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film & Television Production from Asbury University in 2018, Sean began as an Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Cedarville University in southwest Ohio in 2019. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025.
He resides with his wife and son in Fairborn, Ohio, where he continues to freelance as a video editor, musician, and screenwriter. He launched Sean O’Connor Screenplays LLC in 2021.
