Screenplay Analyses

During my final undergrad semester at Asbury University, I enrolled in a graduate-level screenwriting class, getting a head start on my Master’s degree in Communications. In addition to writing the first 45 pages of a screenplay, there were also several screenplay analyses that I had to write for the class. Check them out below!

Paving My Career Path (analyzing “Almost Famous” and “The Believer”)

Character-Based Screenwriting (analyzing “Good Will Hunting”)

Protagonists and Antagonists (analyzing “A Few Good Men” and “The Dark Knight”)

Making a Moral Argument (analyzing “There Will Be Blood” and “Zero Dark Thirty”)

Dialogue Analysis (analyzing “The Social Network” and “Network”)
